6-26-08 2 Tim 2:11-13 June 27, 2008

S:  If we die with him we will also live with him if we endure hardship we will reign with him if we deny him, he will deny us. If we are unfaithful he remains faithful for he cannot deny who he is.

O:  Saying that if we stay true to our faith and to God we will die and live with him forever (2:11) and be with him but if we deny him he will deny us and stay true  in his faith.

A:  This reminds me about my path with God and how I know or hope to spend my life with him and I can honestly say I have not given up on God and not deny him through hard, struggling times.

P:  Dear God, please help me to walk in your path & to stay true to my faith with you! Amen

S: I will sing and give praise

O:  Praise God and singing.

A:  That I can praise God in many ways by singing and praying.

4-13-08 1 Sam 14:1-23, 2 Cor June 27, 2008

S:  Love is patient love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast.

O:  That love is patient and kind and understanding.

A:  Reminds me of Gods love he is patient with us he shows kindness through love in the bible.

P:  Dear God, thank you for being patient and showing kindness through your words. Amen

S:  Sing the Glory of his name, name his praise glorious.

O:  That people praise God- in different ways they praise him by worshipping.

A:  To me, I praise God by worshipping, praying, doing devotions, saying his scriptures to others.

P:  Thank you for your glorious love and your wonderful scriptures! Amen

4-4-08 2 Cor 4 June 27, 2008

S;  We all carry around the death of Jesus.

O:  That Jesus died for our sins & that we remember that.

A:  That each day I am thankful that my God is a forgiving God and Jesus made that happen because he died on the cross for our sins.

P:  Dear God, thank you Jesus for going through all that suffering so that I could ask for forgiveness. Amen

4-3-08 Ps 89:1-29, 2 Cor 3 June 27, 2008

S:  I will sing of the Lords great love forever with my mouth I will make your faith fullness known through all generations.

O:  That I will praise God and speak his words to generations after generations so everyone knows his everlasting love for us.

A:  That I will worship and I will tell my kids and they’ll tell their kids and the word will spread down through the generations.

P:  Thank you for being an awesome and forgiving and loving God, Amen

S:  For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved.

O:  That people smell like aroma to him who are accepting him.

A:  When I was saved.

P:  Dear God, thank you for giving me life. Amen

4-1-08 Ps 50, 2Cor 1 June 27, 2008

S:  You use your mouth for evil.

O:  It means you use words that are harsh and bad.

A:  It reminds me of the world how today a lot of people lie, swear, and use harsh and mean words and that is not the way God wants us to be so we kind of take advantage of him when we do wrong.

P:  Dear God, please help me to use nice words towards others. Amen

3-31-08 Ps 49, 1 Cor 16 June 27, 2008

S:  For he will have nothing when he dies.

O:  That a man with riches will have nothing when he passes.

A:  It reminds me of people who make a lot of money and that’s all they care about and towards the end they forget about God’s love and all they care about or love for is money.

P:  Dear God, please help me to not forget about your love an know you are more important than anything. Amen

3-30-08 Ps 42, 1 Cor 15:1-34 June 27, 2008

S:  My soul thirsts for God for the loving God.

O:  That people thrive to hear Gods word and want to know more.

A:  It reminds me of me because I want to hear more about God everyday and i look forward to doing my devotions so I can grow closer to him more.

P:  Thank you God for letting me be able to learn more things about you everyday. Amen
